JAMES PATRICK MARTENS, M.D.
Fellowship Trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon
Dr. Martens specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle injuries in both athletes and non-athletes, including occupational injuries. His practice includes ankle arthroscopy, trauma, fractures, Achilles tendon and other tendon disorders, arthritis, instability, deformity, total ankle replacement and forefoot and hindfoot reconstruction.
A native of Ohio, Dr. Martens received his undergraduate education from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, his Orthopaedic surgery training was at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. He completed an additional fellowship year of subspecialty training for foot and ankle surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Martens is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
